✗━━━━━━ ⌬ Hobbies ⌬ ━━━━━━➳ In her downtime, she likes dealing with repairing hardware and software as well as coding. V. likes driving her motorcycle, baking when she can, and painting as well. But nothing can beat reading or studying on her windowsill during a rainstorm. Her goal is to support herself as best she can, so she doesn’t do much in her downtime.➳ She doesn’t get out much at all. Almost any. She listens to the radio a lot so most of her music tastes are just whatever happens to be playing a lot that she enjoys.━━━━━━ ⌬ History ⌬ ━━━━━━➳ Growing up in St. Canard, she was a bit of a quiet kid from the get go. She kept to herself and found a love of electronics, computers and mechanics. While her social skills were lacking, she wasn't too concerned with making friends at the time anyway.Eventually she started openly offering help to others; being tech support and mechanic for all of her schoolmates. Thinking this could be a path to finding friends. Helping others. But nobody really 'liked' her and they didn't stick around; she'd always been a very helpful person and would go out of her way for others- something that was very often just taken advantage of. They'd use her help and never talk to her again. She became pretty jaded and started just charging for her work. This was a pretty good deal until she finally got a real job.➳ At one time, V was well on her way to becoming a pretty successful Engineer. While working, she was electrocuted and gained a permanent powerful static running through her body. Due to this, her options in life became severely limited. She was unable to touch others without at least a mild shock, and unable to work properly. Thus, losing her job shortly after.➳ She had difficulties getting a new job and had considered becoming a hero. However, she was told that her powers were dangerous far too many times to view that as a viable option. Instead, she began to do petty crimes. Mostly theft. And almost always just to help herself survive. She keeps out of the way of the heroes so she can just do her crime stuff and go home. She doesn’t want trouble really.➳ She’s pretty emotionally distant at first and may act cold or even just mean, but she’s extremely soft and always willing to lend a hand, even if she'll insist on any flimsy excuse she can to avoid admitting she actually just genuinely wanted to help out. But she no longer expects people to stick around when she's nice. Besides; as a 'villain' she doesn't like people knowing she's nice (since it's also a surefire way for people to want to take advantage of her).➳ More recently, she's been recruited to work for Negaduck; which she tentatively does. However, she's more fond of the rest of his team; finding them to be pretty good people all things considered. She still isn't interested in hurting people, but she's already attached to the guys and doesn't want to abandon them.
━━━━━━ ⌬ Static ⌬ ━━━━━━
Vic's static is a permanent electrical current running through her body. Contact with conductive surfaces will cause a static shock. This includes metal and other people. Due to this, she is unable to work well with electronics (often frying or overloading the internal wires without meaning to), and working with Machinery causes a lot of shocks that can be painful for her. Despite this, she works with both at times when she's able to and will wear rubber gloves to help.Most of the time she will avoid physical contact or ensure there is a buffer between her and the other person. Her leather jacket works wonders, and she wears fingerless gloves with dryer sheets inside to help create even more of a barrier. Simple contacts will often just be something akin to shocking yourself on a metal door knob. A quick static shock. Prolonged contact including things like handshakes result in more severe shocks. Overall harmless but enough to cause painSince Vic has such little control or aids to help with this, she's constantly afraid of hurting those she is near and will avoid being in situations where she could hurt someone. She can make the shocks stronger if she chooses to focus on it and TRY, however, she is unable to shut it off completely. She also struggles with fabrics; the static makes them stick to her. (Laundry day is a hassle)
Power notes:
She can send electrical jolts or zaps. Her range isn't very high, and the closer the target, the more she can make it hurt.
She can electrocute someone to varying degrees with a touch.
She's basically a power source. Yes she can charge things and run electronics by holding onto the plug.
Electrical power sources (like electrical boxes or power plants) may surge if she touches the equipment. If she holds onto it too long, it will potentially overload and cause a power surge/outage.
Water doesn't make her short out, but it's somewhat dangerous to be in the water NEAR her. She is unable to control how much of the water surrounding her she electrifies...
Her hair is supposed to be straight. But the static makes it floof up
When she's got a strong emotion; sparks fly from her - usually from her shoulders. Minor cases can be blocked by her jacket.
Her hair 'floats' from the static when she's feeling a strong emotion. She thinks the effect is super dramatic and cool actually.... when it's NOT happening out of being flustered - in that case it's just embarrassing
If under extreme stress, electrical items around her will surge
Cracking any of her joints causes sparks on those areas.
Snapping her fingers also makes sparks
All of her sparks are visible very clearly in the dark! and can light up a very small area
She can make a lightbulb light up by putting it in her mouth. She found out by accident when trying to CHANGE a lightbulb. This is completely useless but she finds it hilarious.

Though, by now the memories of those quieter days are fading. While she used to simply work as a general handyman; it didn't last too long before things went south (even before the static incident most of her other universe alternates experience). She couldn't bring herself to abandon her city; so instead she went into hiding. Choosing an old warehouse to set up in and turning a small storage room into a haven of plushies and soft things she collects.➳ While she has no particular goals or plans in mind; she'd like to eventually get to a normal life and settle down. For now, she's happy just helping various St. Canardians with their home appliances and electronics. Sometimes for money; sometimes just for food or some other kind of trade. She lives mostly off-grid and has fashioned a comfortable... yet unimpressive life for herself.➳ When things get rough in St. Canard; or when she's in some kind of danger- her go-to weapons are homemade bombs. Some have smoke in them; others have explosives. She usually uses them as a diversion to simply escape any situation, but she also has more violent and harmful ones in her possession should she need to take more drastic measures to protect herself.➳ She's a kind person, and wishes only to be nice to those around her. Only getting mean or violent if the other person is hostile first. She will rarely throw the first punch in any sort of fight and prefers to stay out of conflict all together. She has a lot of trouble standing up for herself; but will make an attempt to help others.➳
